On a mission for financial freedom for all.

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to found Financial Fitness back in 2020. My mission is to educate people on financial principles to drive behaviors that will allow them to reach their goals and live the life they want to live.

Why Financial Fitness?

My personal experience

I’ve watched my half-brother struggle financially for many years. He is smart and a hard worker. He graduated top of his class and worked two jobs, yet he lived paycheck to paycheck and barely made ends meet. He struggled with student loan debt, credit card debt, and essential living expenses at thirty years old. Fortunately, my parents educated him on budgeting, saving, and investing. It took several years of guidance for him to become debt-free. And now, according to Forbes, he is part of only 22% of Americans not living paycheck to paycheck. This experience made me realize that young people do not get proper personal finance education to succeed in the real world.

Financial fitness is a critical skill for youth to live their best life and reach their goals. The majority of people are worried and struggling with financial problems. These struggles come from a lack of education, leading to a lack of confidence, poor decisions, debt, and a lifelong battle with money. This topic is vital to achieving a better quality of life for people across all income levels; however, it’s especially critical to the low to medium income levels. We can impact our communities' financial well-being with early personal finance education.
