Financial Independence
Building blocks to control your path to financial freedom.
We are all told, “live your life to the fullest.” I am here to do just that. Financial Fitness with Siena serves as a platform to project my passion for taking control of your life starting with financial literacy to create small habits that compound over time. So, sit back, relax, and read on.
Beginning Your Financial Fitness Routine
Once you make the decision to embark on your financial fitness journey, you are halfway to freedom. However, I do not use the word "decision" lightly; I mean you are committed to doing the work to get there. The steps are simple, but not necessarily easy. Your goal for financial fitness is to create daily, sustainable habits with your finances to achieve the financial freedom you need to live the life you want to live.
Financial Freedom
The Why
Building Blocks
Create sustainable habits
These concepts are simple, but they are not always easy. In this financial fitness program, I will break down some of the basic financial exercises to help you build and strengthen your ability to follow these five guiding principles:
Live within your means
Prioritize saving
Make investing a habit
Avoid borrowing
Create an emergency fund
Why is financial independence important to you?
Just like physical fitness, without “the why”, without a purpose, and goals to achieve that purpose, you will not be motivated to take the daily, weekly, monthly steps to realize your goals. So, start by asking yourself what kind of life you want to live or what lifestyle you want to achieve. With that vision for your future in mind, you can start a plan for short and long-term goals.
